Base Shoes
The base shoe is an integral component of the TAPER-LOC® system. CRL provide a range of base shoes to suit 12mm, 15mm, and 19mm toughened monolithic glass applications, and 13.52mm, 17.52mm, 21.52mm, and 25.52mm laminated toughened glass. Base shoe can be surface or side mounted, and provided drilled or undrilled. Available in 3m lengths, base shoe is made from aluminium and can be clad in six choices of finishes.
Taper Sets
CRL provide a range of Tapers to suit 12mm, 15mm, and 19mm toughened monolithic glass applications, and 13.52mm, 17.52mm, 21.52mm, and 25.52mm laminated toughened glass. Plus a special Taper set for windscreen applications - 10mm monolithic glass applications.
System Tools
The CRL Installation/Removal Tool CAT.NO. TLK12 is used for tightening TAPER-LOC® Tapers in the channel of the base shoe. It supports all of CRL’s different TAPER-LOC® systems and works with both toughened monolithic glass and laminated toughened glass applications. It has an integrated torque wrench that applies the precise lock-up force necessary to set the glass panels. Simply set in place and turn the wrench until a clicking sound is heard. This assures the tapers have been locked together. It can also remove tapers when glass panels need to be reset or replaced. This tool comes with an integrated torque wrench, a glass railing setting tool for monolithic glass, a glass railing setting tool for laminated glass, a pair of glass setting roller blocks, instructions, and an assortment of compression blades. The blade assortment includes one pair of blue blades and pusher plate for monolithic surface mount guard rail and railing installs; one pair of yellow blades and pusher plate for monolithic windscreen installs; one pair of red blades and pusher plate for monolithic recessed mount guard rail and railing installs; one black pusher plate for all laminated glass installs. Everything is contained in a moulded carrying case.

The CRL PAL Plumb/Angle/Level Locator Kit is designed to assist you with level and plumb installations of base shoe for balustrade and windscreen installations. This innovative tool levels the base shoe in both the vertical and horizontal orientations. Perfect for use with all TAPER-LOC® installations.
Cap Rails
Choose from a large range of cap rails to complete the balustrade installation. CRL Cap Rails are available in diameters ranging from 38.1 to 101.6mm, as well as oval and square profiles in a wide range of finishes.
