Beautiful Hotel Refurbishment features Glass Hardware by CRL
The major refurbishment of one of East Kilbride's most historic hotels features glass hardware from CRL; the innovative TAPER-LOC® Balustrade System, and Handles, Patch Fittings and Door Rails from CRL's Door Hardware Range.
The Torrance Hotel has been refurbished to the highest standards combining luxury and comfort in modern surroundings whilst retaining its original character and charm. In keeping with the modern look are the Glass Entrance Doors, in total five sets of double doors were installed using CRL Hardware.
The TAPER-LOC® System was used to secure frameless glass balustrades for a relaxed enclosed seating area near to the hotel entrance. TAPER-LOC® is a dry glaze system used to provide quick and secure connection of glass for frameless balustrades. The precision measured control gives high quality, 50% quicker installations every time. The system is intended for toughened/toughened laminated glass from 12mm-25.52mm thick, and is tested to meet the strictest building code requirements BS6180:1999 and BS6399-1:1996.
